A. Yes. The clinic is accredited by ACC and is certified to the New Allied HealthSector Standards.
Q. Are all Physiotherapy Clinics certified?
A.No. To be certified, the clinic has to go through an extensive audit process toensure that proper standards are in place. This protects the health and safety
of clients.
Q. Does the clinic take Private Clients?
A.Yes. The clinic takes Private & ACC clients and also clients with thirdparty insurance.
Q. Does the clinic take New Clients?
A.Yes. New clients are welcome. Please come in a few minutes before yourscheduled appointment to fill out a new patient registration form.
Q. Do I need a doctors referral to make an appointment?
A.No. You can see a physiotherapist without a doctors referral. In many cases,the physiotherapist will communicate with your GP when necessary.
Q. How long has Mo been practicing acupuncture?
A.He received a Post Graduate Certification in Medical Acupuncture in 2001.Q. Do the acupuncture needles hurt?
A.The pain tolerance of each individual will vary. Generally, most people willfeel a dull, tooth ache sensation from 2 hrs to 1 day after receiving acupuncture.
Your own particular treatment should be discussed with Mo prior to commencing
the acupuncture session.
Q. Do I have to have acupuncture if I am treated by Mo?
A.No. Mo may suggest the use of needles as a treatment option, but you mustgive consent to their use. There are other treatment options available if you do
not wish to receive acupuncture.
Q. How quickly can I get an appointment?
A.The clinic carries a waiting list, but we will do our best to offer an appointmentto a new client within 48 hrs.
Q. What happens if I am unable to attend my appointment?
A.Please call the clinic at least 3 hrs before your appointment, so that we are ableto offer the appointment to clients on our waiting list. If you do not advise us or fail
to attend your appointment, a No Show fee will be charged.
