scheduled appointment to fill out a new patient registration form.
Q. Do I need a doctors referral to make an appointment?A.No. You can see a physiotherapist without a doctors referral. In many cases,
the physiotherapist will communicate with your GP when necessary.
Q. How long has Mo been practicing acupuncture?A.He received a Post Graduate Certification in Medical Acupuncture in 2001.
Q. Do the acupuncture needles hurt?A.The pain tolerance of each individual will vary. Generally, most people will
feel a dull, tooth ache sensation from 2 hrs to 1 day after receiving acupuncture.
Your own particular treatment should be discussed with Mo prior to commencing
the acupuncture session.
Q. Do I have to have acupuncture if I am treated by Mo?A.No. Mo may suggest the use of needles as a treatment option, but you must
give consent to their use. There are other treatment options available if you do
not wish to receive acupuncture.
Q. How quickly can I get an appointment?A.The clinic carries a waiting list, but we will do our best to offer an appointment
to a new client within 48 hrs.
Q. What happens if I am unable to attend my appointment?A.Please call the clinic at least 3 hrs before your appointment, so that we are able
to offer the appointment to clients on our waiting list. If you do not advise us or fail
to attend your appointment, a No Show fee will be charged.
